I quite like this preppy little top, and it gives me epic cleavage that I (once again) managed to sunburn today. I've been struggling for ways to wear it, and I suspect that it suits my DIY pencil skirt better than anything else in my wardrobe.

It's been a while since I wore this skirt and I've discovered that I don't have a single pair of underpants left that I can actually wear with it without advertising my undergarments. Everything's either spotty, or striped, or ruffly, or in bold colours.

Time to get some boring beige nana pants, methinks.

Hurrah! Frockapalooza has finally reached it's end, so to tie us up here's a few (dis)honorable mentions that didn't quite manage to make it in for one reason or another! They're still in my closet, so I felt like I had to include them.

So, that makes 41 dresses. 41.

Considering they made a movie called 27 Dresses, and I've left that number in the dust I'd say it's probably time to reassess my wardrobe!

At some point in the next few weeks I'm going to do a drastic cull, and I'll be putting the overflow up on eBay, so I'll let you know once I've got my act together and put them up on offer. I thought I'd donate some of the proceeds from the sale to one of my local charities.

I was actually going to wear this dress for New Year's, but when I put it on prior to coming to Canberra I discovered that I've lost enough cup sizes that it won't stay up. Quite sad about this, as I've worn it to almost every wedding I've been to over the last three years.

I bought this dress for the express reason that it zipped up the front like my favourite shirt dress, but it hasn't been worn for a while, and I sort of forgot it was in my cupboard at all (!)

Still love this dress, but I forgot to pack it! I bought it a few years ago during the Year Of Great Frocks That Are Also Cheap, and it's the only one that's lasted the distance.

Today was my last day in Melbourne before heading off to the 'berra for my long awaited holidays. I took the opportunity to premiere this dress on a jaunt up to the hills to have lunch with Sally & Fi, two of my favouritist ladies from the Blogosphere. I hadn't met Sally before, and was delighted to discover that she's every bit as scrumptious as you could have hoped, and daughter Ruby (generally considered to be the prettiest baby on the internet) performed admirably, sending Fiona and myself into a frenzy of broody goodness.

So, I'm running out of puff with Frockapalooza, but the numbers of dresses don't seem to be abating at all! I've packed the majority of the reaminder, but there's one or two "Here's One I Prepared Earlier" shots for dresses that didn't make the Canberra cut

I thought I'd thumb my nose at the Melbourne art scene and wear my ridiculously bright and sunny vintage dress instead of the traditional black.

I've finally found a cardigan that works properly with this dress - it's from my favourite Melbourne cashmere shop - 8Inkerman - and I'm so delighted with it. It's a silk cashmere blend that's perfect for throwing over a summer dress in the evenings.

So, the exhibition was excellent and I'd thoroughly recommend it for any Melburnians at a loss for something to do over the next two weeks. Quick smart though - especially if you're interested in expanding your own art collection. The Sophisticate and I both walked away with pieces from the extraordinarily talented "Acorn" (Mine's called "Taulu" and it's beautiful) and the number of "sold" dots on the walls grew every time you looked.
