In a Flap

Vest: Target
Cardigan: Target
Skirts: Kelda Leigh
Shoes: Ben Sherman @ Solestruck

I'm on a bit of a retro kick this week, can you tell?

I love this new hat - I picked it up last Friday at the Chitra's Closet fashion parade and (here's the exciting bit) I've been wearing it all week.

This has never happened before; as I'm sure I've mentioned earlier I'm somewhat prone to impulse buying hats that then sit unloved and unworn in my cupboard.

This one reminds me of a burgundy cloche hat that I used to wear when I was a teenager and less inclined to care if my headwear drew excessive attention from strangers, but it's better - a lovely soft flexible felt that's a dream to wear.

This is a very 30's look, something like the Great Gastsby! Loved it! You know, I have a similar hat in material and color that I got from a swap party and I didn't wear it yet, but it looks so lovely that you just gave me hat inspiration :)

Love it! Love it! What a brilliant outfit! You should totally dust off those unworn hats - you're a hat kind of person!

I've just done my first ever outfit blog post - please check it out!

Gorgeous hat! I am a bit like that too. I buy a lot of hats that sit unworn but then I have hats that I wear all the time. I am a real hat person! I just love all sorts of hats its just as you say some I feel a little odd wearing because everyone looks at me.
