It's insanely cold at the moment in Melbourne, so you could be forgiven for thinking that I'm mad for venturing out with bare knees, but there's just something about this necklace that smacks of short skirts and knee socks.
Actually I'm wearing pantihose under the socks, which does double duty of providing a bit of extra coverage, and helping the socks themselves stay up.
The necklace is another impulse buy from City Chic, along with the bow belt from a few posts back, and the polkdaot jacket which I'm yet to blog.
Wandering past today (on the hunt for non-trashy looking Maneke Nekos) I spotted another very cute looking piece in their window:
I have to say - this has been one of my favourite seasons from City Chic in a long while!

I tried on the heart cardi too, unfortuately they didn't have my size. If it had been $20 on sale I'd've bought it small and worn it unbuttoned, but when I pay full price I want my bosoms to fit in it! The salegirls were talking about Twilight. I felt old.
